I dreamt I had time traveled to my junior year in high school. My current mind, memories and knowledge inhabiting my adolescent body. It went as one would expect - an absolute nightmare.

I dreamt of an annular eclipse. A black sphere with a golden fiery corona hanging in the sky, with an empty city stretching towards the horizon from my vantage point on a small hill. I had my friend's telephoto lens with me and started taking shots, but on every photo I took there were two spheres, as if there were two moons and two suns eclipsed at the same time. The lens was broken. Or was it? The city looked different too. With gigantic, brutalist structures almost defying gravity and, certainly, construction safety laws.

I dreamt today that I could detach and reattach my head from my body, Washington Irving style. It was pretty convenient, really. The deal-breaker was slight bleeding repeatedly causing collar stains and excessive need for doing laundry. Funnily enough I almost never wear collared shirts in real life.
Also, for the first time in I can't remember I woke up in light sleep, so I don't feel like a car hit me before I even got out of bed.

A recurring dream. We're leaving her parents house. It's the last rowhouse on one of many small streets crossing a hill, each street overlooking the city like a step on a staircase. The sun has just now set and you can still feel its heat permeating the air. We reach the crossing. She wants to turn right, go down the hill, but I insist we climb it for one last look at what remains of the waning day. As we climb, the hill seems to become steeper. By the time I reach the summit, she's been there for a couple of minutes. I'm panting, out of breath, as I look on the meadows and forests rolling down the other side of the hill into the distant horizon, with the huge, golden disc of a full moon, just barely risen. I wake.

I dreamt I was at a Pink Floyd show in Szczecin. The venue was an indoor swimming pool shaped like an ancient, Greek amphitheater complex. We had shitty seats, and the sound was terrible. It was so terrible, that the show was canceled halfway, after Waters left the stage, cursing. Next thing i found myself eating burgers at a plastic table next to a burger van, alongside Waters and Brian May who had shown up inexplicably. We were taking turns, listening from a walkman to a supposedly unreleased album by Jim Morrison, that May had brought with him. All of us agreed that it was rather unremarkable.

I dreamt I found myself in what seemed like some old basement. Cobwebs and dust were everywhere. Corridors and rooms were lit by bare, flickering, filament-type light-bulbs, everything cast sharp shadows. I wasn't alone, there were about 10 more people with me, but I had no recollection who they were. All I knew was, like the rest, I was disoriented and didn't know how I'd gotten there. The more I looked around, the more this looked like some sort of research complex. It was too big for a basement. We stumbled upon a room full of cryogenic chambers (think Cameron's 'Aliens') that were open and empty. We might have woken up in them earlier and not remembered. I don't know. We had regular clothes on. After, what seemed like hours, we found some sort of exit. We drew matches and I wound up as part of a three-man scouting party.
There was no gigantic vault gate, no huge creaking slabs of metal. We exited through a side door into an alley, of what looked like a regular, early XXI century city somewhere in western Europe. I had this nagging feeling like something was off, like we didn't belong, or rather, like the world didn't belong.
It was the small differences, like the font on the bus signs. Transparent slabs of glass for smartphones. Weird neckties.
Like we slept for 50 years and woke up in the future. Only the future was a mix between the Noughts of the 21st century and some weird extrapolation of the Eighties from the previous one. We waited at a what I thought was a bus stop and got on some sort of maglev/tram hybrid. I looked at the route map on the on-board display, it was stylized to look like a world map straight out of a 16bit JRPG. I noticed that the next stop was a nuclear wasteland bordering with a post-fallout autocratic dystopia. Then it finally hit me: I was in the future, but way further than I had realized. The whole thing was some sort of theme-park and museum hybrid depicting different eras of humanity's history. The only difference was that the staff (for lack of a better word) actually believed they lived in their respective era. By that time everyone else left the cart. I stayed on as I wanted to get to the terminus, to see what the real future looked like. The maglev went into a tunnel and the on-board lighting dimmed. I must've dozed off. I started hearing some chatter and woke up. But I woke both from the dream-sleep and real sleep. The chatter was the radio-alarm.

First dream this year
I dreamt I was at some sort of multi-fandom convention, at the MTP. I'm guessing it was P__kon, 2016 edition. I was sitting next to Mari on one of these uncomfortable, plastic, foldable chairs that are so ubiquitous at convention centers. Both of us were moderately drunk in that loud and cheerful manner. Everyone else were ignoring us however, as they were listening to a cosplay band playing(?) on stage. Thing is though, we knew they weren't really playing, only pretending, while in truth going through the motions of some ritual to summon Ye Olde Ones. I also knew that we had messed up their ritual instructions somehow, so I was just watching intently, with a Schadenfreude-esque anticipation, yearning to know how it backfires on them in some gruesome manner. I woke before they finished.

Dream, three days ago.
A demolished freeway viaduct on a moonlit night. Some kind of post singularity future, aftermath of a war with the machines. Concrete pylons lined with bulletholes like pockmarks. Rubble and detritus was everywhere. Charred husks of burnt cars, overgrown with dessicated weeds. The standard package. I was trying to reach a broken vending machine, scavenging for food. Creeping silently closer in an arcing zig zag pattern as I knew it was bound to be boobytrapped. I missed the millipede drone and woke with a sharp pain to my calf. Muscle cramp.

Dream
I dreamt about a log cabin in a mountain forest during winter. I don't know where. It was day, morning after a blizzard. I had to traverse waist deep snowbanks to get to the door. No one inside, but clearly not abandoned. The furnishing was rustic. Wooden chairs, a heavy rough-hewn wooden table, coarse stone mantlepiece over a crackling fireplace. Animal skin rugs littered the floor. I put water on in a cast iron kettle and started to look for coffee. After a time ■ came in. ■ aged well. Said ■ email address was ■.■@gmail.com. I don't remember details of the conversation.
After I woke up I looked it up and came up empty. No hits.
