On a long enough time-line people diverge into two kinds: the kind which, even after a prolonged absence or lack of contact, remain real, flesh-and-blood persons, and the other ilk, which turn into extras, CGI generated stage props, strings of characters depicting names on your "friends list" on the social networking website of your choice. Which just proves they were never real to begin with.
Well, I tend to divide them in two lots: those I want to talk to, and those I don't. Those I want to talk to are those I want to write letters to.

BTW when you finish with the thesis, get your ass over for a drink or food, or both.
